Had tea and finger sandwiches [and maki rolls] with an old friend of mine on the front porch.
Nice and relaxing and really... old-lady like. Heehee
Biking once again with my boyfriend. This time at east trail called Bruce Trails.
Looooooong biking but it is well worth it.
This image speaks for itself.
How amazing. You can go up close and literally bathe, but its really cold and slippery.
Lots of loose rocks. Had to climb down to get up real close. No rails no fence.
It was quite gorgeous. I must go again.

Chedoke Rail Trail story 1
I left my bike at my boyfriend's apartment for weeks and i could not wait to take my baby back home. Before i decided to take it home, i wanted to look at the other paths that had access the mountain. [Mountain=west Hamilton mountain=where my house is]
Chedoke Rail Trail.
I remember taking this trail years and years ago with my brother. It took me to the mountain.I happily rode my bike all the way to the top and head back home.
On the way of the trail was beautiful and organic. About 3 waterfalls spotted, abundance of green luscious trees and plants. The view of the entire city... breathtaking.
It took about 1-1 1/2 hrs to get to my house. It was well worth it...and it was free!

Decandent
A Little for Myself
Homemade strawberry shortcake. I made a cake for 2 friend's for their birthday and graduation. I had some leftover batter and strawberry coulis. The whip cream is also from scratch. Simply add sugar and vanilla. However, don't add too much sugar, add a tad and a little more vanilla extract than usual. So its heavily vanilla- scented cream with a touch of sweetness.
The strawberry coulis was tart than usual but it goes so well with the sweet vanilla sponge cake.[though the spongecake was the boxed dry mix, i cheated. :p] I didn't want to make it too sugary like the one in the store. This recipe was heavily inspired and copied from my brother-in-law. He made the best strawberry cake ever!
